The resort is located at the north of Aishantang Village, Songshan, Qixia City in Shandong, lying in the well-known breathtaking Aishan parkland with forest, streams, springs, waterfalls, stones, lakes, temples, and hot springs. Surrounded by mountains, the resort boasts fresh air and enjoyable sceneries.

For both the “Holiday Homes” and the “Site Masterplan” we envisage a base unit / structure (e.g. existing building structures of the holiday homes; zones and circulation infrastructure of the site) around which we develope various interchangeable features, layouts, elements, components, etc. to create multiple options. These can be adapted / modified further and combined to provide the preferred final design solution. By using this design method future modifications to e.g. the function or appearance of the “Holiday Homes” or potential phasing of the site development becomes possible.
