The GAMBOL Group is to built a new pet food factory, R&D facilities and visitor’s center as part of the adjacent Pet Town. It will be the most anticipated clean, sustainable and automated pet food factory in China in recent years. This facility will provide much-needed pet food manufacturing space and is expected to attract pet owners to see the clean facility and to experience how pet food is made for their beloved dogs or cats.

The aim of the pet town design is to bring people and animals together in healthy supportive environments. The concept addresses the unique challenges that impact animal care facilities with an understanding of the many issues, technologies, functional requirements and animal health and safety aspects specific to the animal care industry. Sustainability and efficiency are one of the primary design drivers of these utility intensive environments. The resulting design, going well beyond providing animal health and welfare in a secure, sustainable, durable facility, seeks to establish a new forward-thinking standard in municipal animal care and an inspirational community resource.
