No. 11 Elementary School

The existing No.11 Elementary School is obsolete in terms of the environment it offers for primary education. It suffers from an inadequate internal and external spatial configuration which is simply not inducive to delivering a first rate education. This is exacerbated by the design of the existing buildings and the school’s open space, both of which are poor.

By contrast the new design has transforms this rather drab environment into a stimulating and interesting place within which to teach and learn.

The elementary school will provide space for 1900 students, teaching and support staff in a child-friendly and engaging atmosphere. A major focus has been on creating adaptable, bright teaching environments which are clearly structured and integrated in the overall setting as well as reflecting the long history of the school and its deeply rooted standing within the neighbourhood community.
